Only some can locate the Kokoro Clinic for the Soul. If you are fortunate, they will prescribe you a cat. When you return with a record of “what the cat consumes and produces,” you might be better. Or not. Does not deliver on its promise.
This is a clever idea, and the book is full of cats, cat behaviors, and people talking about cats. However, I found the story uninteresting and confusing. The idea is inviting, but the execution leaves the reader wanting more. The main character works in a cat rescue. He doesn’t like his job, and I don’t blame him.
